Casework along the exterior wall in rooms 103 and 205 was wet as determined with the use of a moisture meter. Work Orders 202264 and 202266. A cafeteria column (along exterior wall on right side) was determined to have a small section (1 SF) of wet drywall. Work Order 202265. These findings will be further investigated during winter break. Sources of the leaks are being addressed.

Water stained ceiling tiles observed in stairwell near rooms 113 & 114, hall between gym locker rooms, 145 (above pencil sharpener, 111 (TV studio; around return air grille), 106 (near return grille), 002 (near exit door), 217 (near return grille), and hall between rooms 237 & 238. If not already in progress, school custodial staff to submit a work order to Building Services to evaluate, correct source, and replace ceiling tile.

Mold growth on surfaces in portables 27, 61, and 145. Board-approved restoration contractor cleaned and disinfected portable furnishings as a precaution and placed a dehumidifier for a few days. The mold growth occurred due to an incorrect thermostat setting.
