A plug-in air freshener was detected in the office located in room 116. School administration is to inform staff to remove from the building.
Three pieces of non-HCPSS issued furniture were present in the office within room 116. Two can be regularly cleaned by wiping. However, the third piece is a large fabric couch with cushions and pillows which are not considered readily cleanable. School administration is to have staff remove the fabric couch.
Room 320 appears to be a reading corner with fabric materials. School administration is to review and determine if serves an educational or special education purpose and if not, the items are to be removed. If the items are to remain, a regular cleaning plan is to be in place by the staff member who brought it in.

Water stained ceiling tiles observed in room 102, cafeteria (front left), 3rd floor hall at beginning of science wing, staff restroom (left room; around exhaust grille) on 2nd floor near stairs 1 and room 258, 3rd floor outside rooms 350, 311, and 323, and closet within room 330. If not already being addressed, custodial staff is to submit a work order to Building Services.
Areas with mold forming on stained ceiling tiles were observed on 3rd floor outside 304 and teacher planning and room 126 (near window closet to exit). Custodial staff is to replace a ceiling tile once visible mold is present and do so until source is corrected.

The thermostat in room 312 is obstructed by a file cabinet. School administration is to instruct custodial or teaching staff to move items to allow more airflow to the thermostat.
A desk lamp (on top of a file cabinet) is too close to the room's thermostat. School administration is to instruct staff to remove heating/cooling items too near to the thermostat so not to give a false impression of the room temperature.
