These materials can become allergen sources if not maintained and students come in close contact and disturb. The items add extra cleaning for custodial staff (not directly their responsibility). School administration is to consider removing items (at a minimum the shaggy fabric items) and ensuring teaching staff periodically cleans (vacuum or launder).
