A cardboard box was observed on top of the unit ventilator covering some of the air supply diffuser in room 48. This obstructs airflow and can be a mold source during cooling season by damp chilled air saturating the box. Teacher was informed and inspector removed the box.

The rocking chair in room 69 needs attention. Heavy visible dust build up on seat pan and components below the seat pan. Wood shelving attached to the wall in portable 171 needs dusting. In addition, a few artificial plants are on the shelf which are an unnecessary dust collector. Room 20 has many surfaces with visible dust build up. Besides dust being allergen source when becoming airborne when disturbed, it can become a food source for mold under the right humid conditions. Custodial and teaching staff are to jointly work in cleaning the above rooms and/or surfaces. Custodians are not responsible for moving personal items.
