Finding: Northfield Elementary School: C45 (FXXNES202200204F)

Several fabric pillows were observed in a reading area. If not properly maintained they can harbor settled allergens which can become triggers to students handling or coming in close contact with the pillows. Staff is responsible for cleaning (vacuum and/or launder) these pillows on some type of schedule. It is not the custodial staff's responsibility. Remove pillows if not maintained. At the time of inspection, paper scrap was on a pink pillow (indication may not be cared for). Pink pillows appear in poor condition.
