Finding: Hammond Elementary School: Room 93 (FXXHES20230021EE)

Stuffed animals present along window ledges. If not properly maintained, they can accumulate allergens that when used by students may disturb the allergens rendering them airborne and possibly impacting individuals with allergy sensitivities. It is not the responsibility of custodial staff to clean these items. School administration is to determine education value the items have. If deemed educational, teaching staff must vacuum and/or launder them at regular intervals.
