Remediation
Custodial staff recleaned impacted carpet with wet methods and placed fans within the classroom to dry out the carpet. The Office of the Environment re-assessed after the cleaning. No visible mold growth was observed. The carpet was also probed with a moisture meter. No elevated moisture was detected.
It is recommended to use floor fans in the future. Custodial Services can also request ventilation to assist with drying efforts.
