Three chemical products readily accessible to students. Products on top of file cabinet located at classroom door. The aerosol disinfectant spray is not permitted since when used, produces a potential airborne irritant to some individuals. A properly labeled spray bottle containing a HCPSS issued cleaning product is to be placed in a secure location and out of student reach. An unlabeled (teacher name printed on bottle) spray bottle containing a blue liquid. Identify the liquid in unlabeled spray bottle. If water, label bottle as such. If a HCPSS custodial product affix a manufacturer label from custodian. If unknown or non-HCPSS issued chemical then properly discard. School administration is to inform staff regarding the above items and actions.
