Finding: Longfellow Elementary School: Room 156 (FXLOES20220020AD)

The air return within the wall was partially obstructed by trash/recycle receptacles. Besides impeding airflow, depending what is in the receptacles, odors may be distributed via ventilation system to other rooms shared by the same ventilation unit. School administration is to inform staff to keep items at least 3 feet away from air returns. The returns are located in a location where staff may store items partially or completely obstructing the face of the return air grille.
