Finding: Hanover Hills Elementary School: Room 143 (FXHHES202300228D)

A few shaggy items (small rug and 2 throw pillows) and carpet covered student stools around a table. It is the opinion of the inspector shag items have the ability to harbor more particulate (more surface area when considering all the strands) and harder to clean. Allergens may be released when handled or in close contact with and impact those with allergy sensitivities. It is recommended these items be removed. The stools have similar potential. If school issued, custodial staff is to regular vacuum. If not school issued, teacher is responsible for vacuuming or laundering (if seat coverings are removable). The above recommendations are to be communicated to staff by school administration.
