Inconsistency on the position of the outside air dampers (OADs) from one unit to the other when comparing similar types of units. On some units, the OADs appear to be 100% open, while on others they are partially open. For example:
• AHU-4, AHU-6, AHU-7, and Kindergarten – The OADs are 100% open. At the time of walkthrough the outside air
temperature was approximately 46 deg. The OADs should not be 100% open at that temperature, it is too cold.
• AHU-8 – The OADs are less open by comparison.
The OADs were observed to be 100% closed on the following units:
