Kitchen - Commercial freezers will need an occasional wipe down over the summer due to condensation forming on the doors. It is not uncommon for mold to form in these conditions. Wiping the freezers weekly will prevent this. Should mold form, the doors can still be wiped clean with a cleaning solution appropriate for stainless steel.
Relative Humidity
Not above 70%
Yes
Work Order Closed by Building Maintenance
Some Classrooms served by HRU-1 (left side of school) - Relative humidity is >70%. The HVAC in these areas was operating due to custodial cleaning. The elevated humidity is likely a result of the HVAC being on rather than operating in "summer mode." It is expected that humidity will reduce in this area once custodial operations are complete and summer HVAC mode is reinstated. As this area has experienced elevated humidity in the past, the Office of the Environment will monitor the area weekly until further notice. No mold growth was identified during the initial assessment. Wrestling Room - Relative humidity >70%. HVAC was not operational. This area will also be monitored.
