Bean bags should be of a vinyl coating to easily wipe clean and artificial plant items not permitted (collect dust overtime / housekeeping issue and potential mold source if humidity issue is experienced). The items can become an allergen sources especially when students are in close contact or disturb. School administration is to determine if items serve an educational purpose and replace and/or clean per a cleaning plan as necessary. Room 57 had some food items accessible to pests. School administration is to inform staff to place items in a durable container that seals with a top.

School administration is to inform teaching and custodial staff that unapproved chemicals, air fresheners, and aerosol sprays are to be removed from the building; appropriate chemicals (HCPSS custodial products) are not to be readily accessible to students; and chemical spray bottles with HCPSS custodial products are to be properly labeled with manufacturer label.
