The metal siding (end without HVAC unit) has a screw missing allowing an opening for inadvertent rain to enter (the interior drywall was dry per moisture meter). Work order 232320. The condition of the roof on portables 162 (numerous rust spots) and 247 (possible tare in rubber membrane) need to be reviewed and addressed (monitored and/or repaired). Work order 232319.

Visible dust accumulation was observed on shelving of casework in room 39. Custodial staff is to clean now and then per their cleaning schedule. Room 42 has excessive fabric items that can collect allergens overtime and when disturbed will release potential allergens, especially if not properly maintained by teaching staff (custodial not responsible). Presently, the materials appear clean. The additional items may also fall under the rule where the school is to apply spray fire retardant on these coverings. A throw rug is on the floor tile near the sink. This throw rug bunches and moves when stepped on presenting a fall hazard. School administration is to assess if these additional items (see photos in the email cover letter to this report) offer any educational value or is meant to enhance student(s) behavior or attentiveness. If not, consider reducing the amount of these additional items. Although not as excessive as room 42, rooms 1C (fabric toys and not wipeable bean bag) and 2B (stuffed animals) have questionable amount of fabric items that need to be addressed by school administration. Food was not adequately protected from pests / rodents in rooms 1C and 2B. School administration is to inform staff to place food items in sealable container.

Thermostats / ventilation sensors (a flat silver plate and should have a label marked with "# VAV") are obstructed/covered in rooms 39, 60, and 73 (moved and informed teacher at time of inspection).
