Dates of Assessments: August 4 and 7, 2020
A Board of Education restoration company was utilized to assess and dry areas impacted within rooms 607 and 702. Limited drywall was impacted in both rooms (base of wall near exit door in room 607 and near HVAC air return grille in room 702).
The one side of the impacted wall was removed in order to dry the other side using air blowers. The fiberglass wall insulation was removed and discarded.
On August 7, 2020, the Office of Environment reviewed the damage and checked on drying. Approximately 3' of drywall to the right of what was removed in room 607 was still wet (the side of the wall in the room behind was dry). The restoration contractor was instructed to remove the additional 3'.
On August 11, 2020, the restoration company completed repair work.
